Where adventure meets nature

Fanno Creek is an urban stream that begins in the southwest hills of Portland and joins the Tualatin River after 15 miles.

Originally, Fanno Creek was surrounded by a dense forest packed with an abundance of bear, deer, beaver and cutthroat trout. Over time, water flowing to the creek slowed and streamed through trees and vegetation, causing a channel to meander across the landscape to the floodplain, forming the Fanno Creek we know today
